Around the World in a Breath

Dorisse recently returned from a ten month sabbatical to Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Singapore and Thailand. Her purpose was to gather information on all aspects of the breath including the respiratory health of populations within specific countries. What she found was astounding, as in every country asthma and respiratory problems were a growing concern, challenging the health of children and the elderly especially.

"In literally every country, I worked with individuals in either respiratory crisis or who had some type of chronic breathing difficulty, and was asked to please stay and set up asthma programs, as they were so needed. The experience left me with a greater understanding of the urgent need to address changing respiratory patterns worldwide, as they are so tied in to the health of a country and its people. I was blessed with openness, appreciation and love whereever I went, and it strengthened my faith in humanity."

Her mission is to further develop what she believes to be this cutting edge work of Respiratory Educaiton which she knows has the potential to truly change the world.
